This professional development course for teachers will explore the themes of: challenge and creativity; grouping children to achieve; speaking and listening – getting the most out of the more able; multiple Intelligences explained – meeting the needs of the children; developing independence; designing an inspiring and purposeful curriculum; using thinking skills, Bloom’s taxonomy, problem solving, investigation and reasoning across the curriculum; higher order and targeted questioning; planning for the more able; the challenges facing the more able; Little Ideas – consistent pedagogy to have maximum impact for little work!


Participants will receive a free USB Drive that includes:

  •       40 Independent Thinking Skills Activities
  •       Bloom’s Taxonomy Planning Prompts with questions and tasks
  •       A set of Multiple Intelligence posters to encourage broad learning approaches
  •       15 Creative Speaking/Listening Skills activity cards
  •       Presentation for a staff meeting back in school!
