SEMH Advisory Support Team

Our team of experienced and specialist practitioners can provide support and advice on responding to the needs of children and young people with a wide range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs which may impact upon their wellbeing, attendance, enjoyment and achievement within their educational setting.

We are able to provide general advice and training in a range of  areas to inform and upskill staff, support with resource and curriculum development, adaptation of curriculum to support quality first teaching, and ongoing monitoring. We will also advise and support on the use of specific approaches including:

Attachment and Trauma aware practice, Protective Behaviours, Zones of Regulation, and SensoryProcessing Differences.

Support can be provided at both individual and cohort level. We are also able to support staff and parents to understand a pupil’s individual SEMH needs and offer guidance to support their inclusion and achievement in school.
