A warm welcome to our website which we hope you will find useful and interesting. Chadsgrove School is situated in Catshill, north Bromsgrove, and benefits from attractive and well resourced buildings and grounds. From the moment you walk through the door you will see that this is a happy, caring and secure environment with a nurturing family ethos.
Our aims, values and ethos are built firmly on mutual respect and enabling everyone to develop as an individual. These values are evident in our policies, but also in our everyday interactions and activities. It is through the support we give to each other that we establish respect, friendship, a sense of belonging and effective team work. Our staff team are experienced and committed to excellence in teaching, learning and pastoral care.
The children are at the heart of everything we do. Each and every one of them is special, and we enjoy celebrating their unique strengths and abilities. We have high aspirations for every child to feel safe, thrive and achieve their best, whilst taking into account their individual needs and starting points.
We believe that learning should be irresistible, and offer a rich and engaging curriculum which focuses on creativity and first-hand experience both inside and outside the classroom. We develop each pupil’s independence and celebrate their successes. There is a balance of academic, artistic and physical education, as well as that of social and emotional well-being which prepares our pupils for future citizenship. We offer a wide and exciting range of extra-curricular opportunities such as clubs, educational visits, themed days, sporting events, plays, musical performances and assemblies.
The school has a record of high standards and was again judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted in March 2020. However, we are never complacent and whilst celebrating what we do well are also quick to identify and address any area requiring development, so that we do all that we can to ensure the children make the best possible progress.
We work closely in partnership with, and feel supported by, our families, governors, staff team and our local community.
I feel very privileged to be able to lead this school, and hope that every child and family who attend will enjoy being a part of it. Please do get in touch if you would like to know more about us.

Cookies set by the website owner or service provider (in this case, eSchools) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website or service you are using (such as advertising, interactive content and analytics). The third parties that set these third party cookies can recognise your computer both when it visits the website or service in question and also when it visits certain other websites or services.
We use first party and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Services to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” cookies. Other cookies enable us and the third parties we work with to track and target the interests of visitors to our Services, and we refer to these as “advertising” or “analytical” cookies. For example, the embedding of YouTube and Vimeo videos, as added by individual schools, will require “advertising” cookies to be enabled in order to successfully play them. Schools that, for example, opt to track visitor data using Google Analytics will require “analytical” cookies to be enabled in order to do so. These third party cookies are used to tailor content and information that we may send or display to you and otherwise personalise your experience while interacting with our Services and to otherwise improve the functionality of the Services we provide. We also enable schools to employ cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with their use of our Services in order to allow them to track visitors to and interactions with their school website.
Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one of our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
