It is important that all children are as active as possible and are moved into a variety of positions throughout their day, either independently or with assistance from parent carers. It is important that each child follow their own individualised program as set by their own physiotherapist.
If you have any concerns with your child's movement plan, positions, equipment (stander, walker, sleep system) or need further advice please contact your physiotherapist.
Any concerns regarding wheelchairs, please call 01527 869107 Worcester Children, 01384 889400 Dudley Children and 0121 329 0900 Solihull Children.

General Exercises- Please read statement below before you start
These exercises have been provided for independently mobile children that are NOT under physiotherapy services. These exercises must be done under adult supervision. They are some basic ideas to maintain fitness levels and help with muscle strength at home. It is the responsibility of the career/ parent at home to ensure the instructions to these exercises are followed appropriately and that the child only participates in the exercises on the sheet that suit their individual ability. All children that are under physiotherapy services will have their own personalised programme sent out to them in the post that are based on previous clinical assessments.
